normalizeTableName

public static String normalizeTableName(String path)

Normalizes a telemetry table path by adding a leading slash, collapsing duplicate slashes, and adding a trailing slash.

Parameters:

path - input path

Returns:

normalized table path

normalizeBackendPrefix

public static String normalizeBackendPrefix(String prefix)

Normalizes a registry backend prefix.

Trailing slashes are removed, except for the root prefix.

Parameters:

prefix - input prefix

Returns:

normalized backend prefix

normalizeName

public static String normalizeName(String path)

Normalizes a telemetry path by adding a leading slash and collapsing duplicate slashes.

Parameters:

path - input path

Returns:

normalized path

isPathOrDescendant

public static boolean isPathOrDescendant(String path,
 String root)

Returns whether a path is equal to a root path or is one of its descendants.

An empty root and "/" both match every path.

Parameters:

path - path to test

root - root path

Returns:

true if path is root or a descendant of root
